Mark Frissora began his career at General Electric in the Consumer Division of the Lighting Business unit. He spent the first ten years in marketing roles, including Promotion Development and Brand and Product Management for specialty lighting products. He later joined North American Philips, a division of Philips NV, where he spent five years in marketing and sales, playing a pivotal role in launching the Philips brand following the acquisition of Westinghouse.
Transforming Hertz into a Global Leader
In 2006, Mark Frissora was named Chairman and CEO of Hertz Global Holdings. Under his leadership, Hertz underwent a revitalization, modernizing its trade dress and facilities while positioning itself as the world’s fastest rental car company.
